Bust'er Up

I’m an office drone by day and roller derby announcer (and former coach and player) by night.  I’m married to a wonderful man and together we have a dog named Chubbs and a cat who may or may not be in the witness protection program.  We call him LeMieux, which is not his real name.

I’m on a lifelong quest to be fit and healthy. I workout, some weeks more than others. I run, lift heavy things (and put them down again), and will try just about any class my gym has to offer (at least once). I have no problem embarrassing myself in public and when I do I tell the world about it, because if we can’t laugh at ourselves, then we’re just laughing at others, and that’s mean.

I’d rather cook than clean, so if I post pictures of the inside of my house, please don’t look to closely. It’s hard to filter out all the dirt.

I believe in the power of rock and roll

and coffee

and cold beer

and tequilla

and sunshine

(I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m an eternal optimist).
